May 8, 200521 yr I downloaded the F1 View Module that was put in the library but when I click button 3 (middle button) of my mouse, it does nothing. Help! I have a wireless logitech mx800 mouse. Thanks,
May 8, 200521 yr I don't know whether the mx800 has a wheel but my understanding is that the F1 View utility requires a wheel mouse. My wheel mouse doesn't have a centre button and as far as I remember it isn't required anyway.
May 8, 200521 yr This is a wheel mouse and if you push it in, it does act as a 3rd button. Oh well, looks like I have to buy active camera if I want all the great mouse look features.

May 8, 200521 yr The F1 module has some interesting things I believe it does well, but I tried it and went back to Active Camera. The pan rate is too fast with the F1 tool (seems to me.) I'd still like to get a proper padlock capability like you can in the combatsim games. Would be so realistic to be able to lock onto the end of a runway or some point on the ground with a click of the mouse on the object. The Active Camera guys implemented an AI padlock feature when I had suggested this in the past, but I never really liked how it got implemented.Eric AND
May 8, 200521 yr I have a 2 button mouse with a wheel and it works fine with F1 View, the wheel zooms in and out and control or shift plus the wheel rotates vertically or horizontally.Only use it in external views, but then not one of those pilots who has a desire to wander back and flush the toilet!I had ActiveCamera when it was free and F1 View isn't half as good, but then the FI View Price Is Right!!
May 9, 200521 yr Author There have been a number of reports of problems with Logitec mice.My MS Intellimouse Optical works just fine, and I've been using the utility ever since it was first released at the same time as the Flight1 ATR.Alastair
