I would very much appreciate an option to let it listen all the time, with a push to mute button for when using online ATC.

In fact FS2Crew does that, with a soft and hard mute button function.

I'm working on version 2, to come out in a few days with more autopilot functionality, a whole lot more commands, and more accurate recognition.

This is definitely something that I will be looking into in the future. I did briefly attempt to do this for version 1, but found that continuous listening impacted accuracy with the recognition algorithm that I use; it may take a bit more work.

Have not seen this before, will give it a test run.
