December 18, 201411 yr Hello, my planes are followed by a strange shadow! But this shadow is only visible over airports or airfieds. Can't understand what is it !?!?? Here is a exemple at LHPP from LH simulation: Any idea?
December 18, 201411 yr Commercial Member I would guess you have Legacy Force shadow options enabled perhaps? It can cause effects like that - and there is a warning about it. My FSX Analysis Blog

December 19, 201411 yr Commercial Member Great - sorry if it wasn't clear - for legacy aircraft there are often some surfaces that don't show shadows. The option forces them on but it also unfortunately catches some other legacy surfaces when they are very close to the aircraft - which of course in normal flight only really happens at airports. So its an improvement for a small set of mainly freeware aircraft balanced against artefacts at some payware airports. My FSX Analysis Blog
