Key to reset camera view

Featured Replies

Hi Guys, there is probably a simple answer for this but I haven't found it yet.

two things I would like to do, every time I sit in the cockpit I need to adjust my seat position to get the right view, although i can do this quite easily, I would like to "save" the position so I don't need to do it every time.

The other thing I would like to know is, as a VFR flyer, I like to have a peek out the side window to make evaluations etc. I have this assigned to the hat button on my saitek yoke, which works well, however is there a way to quickly reset the view back to center? I find it a bit difficult to get the view back straight fast enough using the toggle and it throws my attitude off, I would rather if it was possible to allocate a button to go back to the center after looking around.

also, I do have FSUIPC if that helps?

In each aircrafts cfg file there is a section where you can set the VC seat position

Some experimenting needed to get the perfect position

For the hat switch you can assign a button or a key press in Fsuipc to snap to center.

Look under the buttons tab in Fsuipc, press the button on your controls that you want to use and look in the drop down FS Controls list on the right for the snap to center function
