Resetting the 2D view?

Featured Replies

After use of the 'top-hat' while in VC view, what is the best way to reset the 2D view to where it should be?

Any constructive advise welcome.

I usually use SPACEBAR + Mouse. The first time you do it, it usually snaps back to the default point. If not, drag the mouse a bit and it'll usually hang slightly when you hit the center point.

Thanks Kyle but, all that does is to show the cross?

Move your mouse when hitting the spacebar as I mentioned earlier. It'll move the view around. As you approach the center of the view, it'll hesitate some. It's one of the best methods. I can't think of any other methods (at least like the "center view" button that comes as part of the DCS products).

Really? Nice! I'll have to set that as a button on my flight stick. Golden.

Thanks!

Thanks but doesen't work for me, I'm using EZYDOK.

I have found that (Shift+.) on the numbered pad does the trick.

Thanks guys for all the suggestions. ;-)

If you're using EZdok, then you have to set a command in the easy EZdok configurator to do it.
