December 26, 201411 yr After returning to FS9 after a few years I feel embarrassed to ask this because i used to do a lot with ai aircraft and flight plans but I'm missing something here, this is what my problem is: I create a flight plan for an ai aircraft to fly from one airport to another both in the USA, I use Traffic Tool Box to look for the aircraft, lots of others there but not the ai I want, I also use Traffic View Board but neither show the aircraft, the airports have plenty of room as well so no problem there, the flight plan is OK too as far as I'm aware because TTools generates it without a problem. Now if I alter the flight plan and replace the US airports with 2 UK airports the ai aircraft is there and works OK. I was wondering if any of my general settings are at fault, I have the sim set Northern/Western, I tried altering that but it made no difference, also why do the other flyable plus ai aircraft show in the US but not this one yet it shows in the UK? I know Traffic Tool Box uses GMT and Traffic Veiw Board uses Local time but altering the times and searching I still can't find this ai, I have other ai flying from the UK to the US and one or two of them fly and arrive OK but I can't find them if I look for their departure from the US to the UK, so I'm either not setting my time right or something else is wrong, so any ideas please?

December 27, 201411 yr Author Yes I did that, looked an hour, looked 2 hours, looked 3, 4, hours not a sign, any way I gave up in the end, it just seems funny that when I change the airports to UK ones the aircraft is there. I've just been creating some European flight plans and they all work no problem.

Just because Ttools compiles a flight plan does not mean there are no errors in the flight plan. I would suggest rechecking your arrival and departure times compared to the distance between the US airports. Also double check the airport codes for the US airports in the flight plan text. Your US problem will be within something that gets changed when you modify the plan for UK use. If you would like, copy and paste the US version of the flight plan text here and let us know what type of aircraft is involved. That would help a lot. Regards,
December 28, 201411 yr the airports have plenty of room as well so no problem there Plenty of room doesn't automatically mean plenty of parkings or parkings at all. Have you checked the airport facilities (ADE, AFCAD, AFX) there? You don't specify which airports are involved. Bernard Visit: Retroavia Forum - FS9 in the pasts
December 29, 201411 yr Plenty of room doesn't automatically mean plenty of parkings or parkings at all. Excellent point Bernard, Although in that case the AI would probably land, exit the runway then stop at the nearest hold short node and just sit there until they time - out and disappear. Making sure there is plenty of additional parking for any AI that is added to FS9 is always a good idea. @Col1948, again, which aircraft, which airports and a look at your flight plan would be very helpful. Stock airports or add on airports? Best regards,
