Utlimate Traffic 2 Help... - Support Forum No help at all

Featured Replies

Hi there,

Can someone that has UT2 that has done a successful backup and re-install point me in the right direction to a step by step procedure to backup and restore UT2 so I don't lose about 50 hours of assigning aircraft  and repaints as well as schedule mods made using power pack.

Yes, I am a Licensed owner, I have a new topic posted in the support forum my ID is michelair,

Okay, hard to believe that there in nothing in the Flight1 UT2 manuals or a Sticky in there forums on this. Yes, there are a lot of posts stating Re-install help, and some small answers to questions, but there is no step by step procedure on this..

So can someone help me out here,

John,

I installed UT2 into P3D when I purchased a new PC, and I am reasonably certain that you need to back up the following files and folders........

Username/AppData/Roaming/Flight One Software/Ultimate Traffic 2/Databases

Username/AppData/Roaming/Flight One Software/Ultimate Traffic 2/PowerPack Files

Username/AppData/Roaming/Flight One Software/Ultimate Traffic 2/UT2Interface.db

Username/AppData/Roaming/Flight One Software/Ultimate Traffic 2/Repaints.txt

I actually forgot to back up the UT2Interface.db file, so I had to do a fair bit of "rebuilding" to the database, so please don't make the same mistake! I think that this file includes information on all of the additional airlines/airline codes/aircraft types that you may have added when compiling your updated schedules.

Good Luck!

Did you have to rename any of those *.db to *.new ?, I read that once, but can't find anything on the forum.

thank for pointing me in the right direction

I just replaced the default Databases and Power Pack Files folders (and those two files) with my saved ones, although it might be a good idea to backup the existing ones...just in case
