Overstock has this unit for sale under $800, might wait for Black Friday or Christmas sales, but reviews are looking great. I currently have three 28" 1080p Monitors, and I think I would rather have 1 monitor with the 4k Res, after reading all the reviews of simmers that made the jump to 4K...

Glad to hear the new release has arrived, I am going to wait before I buy to see what actually changed and how the installers are effected. So yes, I will thank all you day one buyers in advance, please keep us upto date as to what works out of the box and what doesn't. The big question we all want to know is the performace issue. and how much better is VAS management. Everything else is Candy... :-)

Thank you for posting this update, sad event...... glad to see that the NTSB figured out what happened.

I haven't posted much in the last 5 years however I visit avsim everyday, and I guess I will finally jump off the fence and try P3D. Over the last 5 Months I have seen a many developers take the plunge as well. Over a year ago many of us really questioned this P3D as a future for our Flight Simulation needs, but the EULA question has everyone one making their own fit to meet the their needs. So with that said those of us that take Flight Simulation seriously whether one is a gamer or student of Flight Aviation, there is a place for all Flight Sim platforms in our community. I really don't see all the fuss, Whether Xplane or FSX-SE/FSX or P3D its all good, None of the members of Avsim have to justify what platforms they are using or why. We as individuals are in compliance with a Developers EULA or we are not, if it ever comes to question if and when Developers to hold those individuals who are not in compliance is their business. But to waste time on this forum as to who is and who isn't or what when and why,...well it speaks for its self. Don't get me wrong some the arguments or points of view when it comes to discussing this is quite entertaining sometimes, but at the end of the day we all need to get along. Bottom line is to grow the Hobby of Flight Simulation, grow the Flight Simulation as a great learning tool for Virtual pilots and real pilots or anyone who just wants to learn.... Just my two cents..... Okay back to me jumping off the fence, Its done. :-)

I was hoping that a fellow avsim member could clarify these 2 questions for me. Oh I am building a Overhead for 737NG I have several 737-800 Overhead panel diagrams and the toggle switch types are not the same so I am a little confused. Which overhead switches on the overhead of a 737NG are MON-OFF-MON toggle Switches? Which overhead switches on the overhead of a 737NG are ON-OFF-ON toggle Switches? Any and all help is needed. Actually I got a good laugh, I would have probably posted the same error, and if I got a message with that link like that from a forum member I would have got a good laugh and said thanks for the info. Everyone needs a good reminder that google search.... is our friend, however I know from my own experience, when I get a FSX CTD that I have never seen before I too get a little bent.. :wub: .. yes sometimes we all get lazy..... I am the first one to admit it.... Great link, made my day... I am glad we still have humor in our hobby...

I was a AMD 5870 fan, however I switched to a GTX680 and I never looked backed.. Yes, NVidia all the way when comes to FSX... Only hope to upgrade to a 980 later in the year. so +1 Craig....

Go to the FSDT website they have a good support forum, while you are in FSX check your add on Menu make sure the Add on manager is listed in that menu, Also, if you are running anti-virus make sure you exclude the 2 FSDT files from being scanned. More detailed information is listed in FSDT support forum and easy to find. Your issue is common but easily fixed if you follow the forum suggested tips. I had the same problem at one time but now I know what to do its a non-issue.

I hope some developer is noticing over the last couple of years that the sim world as we know it is missing a good ATC program for our hobby. I think this is the most important add-on for FSX that has not been perfected. I have posted in other threads, this ATC subject has been the most disappointing to date for our hobby. As fas as what the best ATC there is not any, all the ones listed above are good programs for what they do. But for now, I am not using the default ATC, and I am holding on to my money in tell one comes out. But I will admit I have not heard any news on one being developed. I think PRO ATC is probably leading the pack when it comes to ongoing developement but as one member pointed out its not the most realistic as the other two. I understand that RC4 in 2007 was a home run however it's no longer being developed, so I would not spend money on a product that is currently not being improved.

Very true. I agree this topic is a good one, constructive feedback is always good, personally if I was a developer I would want to know what people are saying about my products, good or bad.

Stilling waiting for a decent ATC program. PRO-ATX is close but what about correctly handling AI? and making ATC adjustments due to weather?

Hi there, Can someone that has UT2 that has done a successful backup and re-install point me in the right direction to a step by step procedure to backup and restore UT2 so I don't lose about 50 hours of assigning aircraft and repaints as well as schedule mods made using power pack. Yes, I am a Licensed owner, I have a new topic posted in the support forum my ID is michelair, Okay, hard to believe that there in nothing in the Flight1 UT2 manuals or a Sticky in there forums on this. Yes, there are a lot of posts stating Re-install help, and some small answers to questions, but there is no step by step procedure on this.. So can someone help me out here,

This is a great FSX addon, alittle tricky to setup in network Mode, but well worth it. Thanks for the heads up. Always fun to save a few bucks on a add-on that really bring FSX to a new level. Must have software you are using FSX as a learning tool.
