May 17, 200521 yr Anybody has any news regarding any work done on an update??I am still waiting to fly this jumbo jet, after buying it and uninstalling it....
May 18, 200521 yr No, no news here as well.But:- Have you asked Wilco? I'm convinced they would be the first ones to know about a possible update.- Does it need an update ? Why ?TIP: Unlike you (but I guess I'm lucky), I'm already flying this jumbo jet since Robert Versluys released his freeware version in (what was it ?) Jan. 2005. No reason to buy it (its'FREEWARE), no reason to uninstall as well .....Rob
May 18, 200521 yr Author Like you I made the great mistake of buying this productbased on the information published on their website. The product is absolutely rubbish and at the time of purchase I wrote to Wilco to complain and to tell them they werelucky their company wasn't UK based as I would haveensure they are made to account for breach of currentconsumer legislation. As for an update....I wouldn't hope for much improvement. It is obvious they are incapable of producing a product to a good Standard and are out to make a quick Eurowith deceiving statements about their so called product.Do like me, consign it to the dustbin of history and mistakesand NEVER EVER buy another product from them. May 19, 200521 yr Wow!!!I have to say, that "Robert Versluys" A380 looks really great. I seem to have missed it till now.But I don't really care about the 3d model since im in the cockpit most of the time. I was hoping to get a good system simulation like in the "ready for pushback 747".Maby PSS will do a A380 one day (hope). :)
May 19, 200521 yr Wilco released a patch V1.2 it's 19.5MbLook here: http://www.wilcopub.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=support_wfa380
May 19, 200521 yr Good for you :-)But I'll still stick to the freeware version of Robert.I've made a decision (but that's just MHO) only to buy exceptional well-built/realistic payware aircraft that REALLY add something to some of that excellent freeware out here. And, based on everything I've seen and read I'm afraid that this Wilco A380 doesNOT fall in this catagory (patch or no patch). But of course, everyone judges for him/herself :-)Regards, Rob
May 19, 200521 yr The patch is over rated.Still cannot tune the CRS heading....Engines still look bad. Some liveries still not fixed.Engine start up sequence is still absent.Ie batt apu apu gen apu bleed engines...Some things have been fixed though.Keep them patches coming Wilco!!!
