  1. I see, thank you for the clarification. Best Regards Norbert
  2. Hi, I'm sorry to ask, but yesterday there was a new topic called "special enb edition for fsx". It seemed to be a interesting new ENB mod. But today the thread seems to be gone and all I can find via the forum search is "Sorry, we couldn't find that". http://forum.avsim.n...dition-for-fsx/ Where did it go? Best Regards Norbert
  3. They still could have changed the avionics coding to increase fps in VC.
  4. Hi guys!I just ran into the same problem. I followed the procedures from the tutorial from cold and dark.If I start with the tutorial flight, the problem doesn't happen. However, when I start from a previously saved flightit happens sometimes.I know the solution would be easy: Load tutorial flight, set aircraft to desired airport, be happy! But I dont't want to do the complete startup every time, sometimes I'm landing on a airport just for short load/unload of 30mins.I don't shut down the aircraft compleatly. And I'd like to be able to save in those situations.Heres's a picture, wich I hope will give you a idea of what's happening:The left BRG rotary switch is set to LNAV, so the blue needle should indicate the direction to SONGI, wich it seems to do indeed. The autopilot and YD is on and set to IAS and NAV: CAP. From my understanding the autopilot should now try to fly the aircraft to SONGI. But instead it's heading straight north.Any iedeas what I might be doing wrong?Greetings,Norbert Caspar
  5. Hi!Well I usually stay silent, cause most problems are solved by the release of a SP after some time. :( But in this case I'll just let you know, that I seem to experience the same problem. And it remebers me a bit about the OOM errors I had with FS9. Because once I can't start the FMC the only way to get it back seems to bea complete reboot of my PC. I'll then have to start a new flight and load the tutorial flight. Then I can start the FMC with no problems.Just closing FSX and restart it doesn't seem to solve the problem for me.I hope to find some time to start some more in depth tests. I'm using FSX with Acceleration. And btw. I just recently ran into the flying north problem described in this thread: http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=264373When the FMC is working correclty ofcourse. Maby those problems are related, as it seems to be a quite rare problem too? Greetings,Norbert Caspar
  6. Maybe he't talking about this: http://www.forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?sh...mp;#entry162560 :(
  7. Sounds like you downloaded a self extracting archive. I think you just toled the software were to extract the files to. Look in the directory you pointed the installer to. There sould be a directx.exe or setup.exe or similar. Double click the file to run the setup.
  8. Why would you buy addons from Abacus anyway? Most of their products seem to be on average freeware level. :(

Some of yout may not be aware of this nice project: http://www.alliedfsgroup.com/forum/viewtop...=a&start=60Looks promising! :( Anyway I'd love to see a PMDG level 146 in the future!
  10. Sorry, I can't help you, but I'm very interested in this too.So if anyone knows the answer, plase let us know.Greetings,DocNobby
  11. Sounds good! :( That's just what I've been waiting for, a AVSIM review. :( Greetings,DocNobby

Hi!IVAO is another online ATC, like VATSIM http://www.ivao.orgFor offline ATC there's Radar Contact http://www.jdtllc.com/It's a bit like the default ATC, but way more complex and realistic. Then there's VOX ATC. The special thing about VOX is that you can use a headset to "talk" to ATC via voice recognition. http://www.voxatc.com/Greetings,DocNobby
  13. Hi!I read air hauler is finally released. I really like the idea of that program. Sadly I don't have the time to do my flights in real time. Is it possible to use time compression with air hauler flights (like in Fs Passengers)? :( Another question: Can addon aircraft be used with air hauler, like the PMDG MD-11 (thinking about getting this one too :( ).Greetings,DocNobby

Does this happen only with the Wilco Bus, or with default aircraft (like the 747) too?
  15. Hi!I noticed, it's easy to destroy the P51 engine with SP2. But the engine of the other aircraft still seem to be indistructable. I guess there's some way to activate the damage feature in the aircraft.cfg, but I couldn't find anything new in there. If anybody knows anything about it, please let me know! :-)Greetings,DocNobby
  16. Edit: never mind...
  17. Well, I don't think there's anything in my last post that indicates I'm a rw pilot?I was talking about feeling, not knowing. I would be happy to hear the opinion of a rw chopper pilot on this topic. But in fact I've heared many opinion if people claiming to be rw pilots and since they were very diffrent it didn't really help me decide what's real. So I decided what feels real for me. I'm sorry, should have stated this more clearly in my las post. :-rotor
  18. I share astrodaves view.It took me almost a year to master FS9 helis at 100% realism settings, but it's real fun if can fly those birds. FSX defauls helis are unresponsive and hover like a zeppelin. But you can add a line to the aircraft.cfg to bring back the FS9 feel. I think in the default FSX Bell there are three lines called something like "Yaw_Stability=1.0" "Pitch_Stability=1.0" ... thats not exactly what they are called, but there should be something like that (I'm still sicking with FS9). Change the number to 0.3 and you have FS9 like chopper feel. Still not realistic, but more responsive and challenging.GreetingsDocNobby
  19. Yeeeeeeeha! I've been waiting so long for the VC version.Thank you very much for your hard work giving us such a great aircraft! :DGreetings: DocNobby
  20. Wow! Thats the first "fix" giving me a significant increase in FPS (tried all that texture compression and cfg tweaking stuff)!I installed it over Framework 1.0 (didn't have the 2.0 Framework installed) and then uninstalled the 1.0 Framework. In FSX my Frames increased from about 9 to 18 FPS and in FS9 from 12 to 19. Thats guessed average FPS but I can say it defenetly feels alot smoother in both sims and I don't really care about numbers if the feeling's right! :-cool
  21. Hmmm...Very intresting question! That way it would be possible to create aircraft like the ospray and harrier with proper FD. It would even be possible to create zeppelins or to add a module witch gives us propper orbital physics for LEO stuff! :-ufo2 Anyway with the new possibilities of FSX I'm sure we'll see some funny stuff in the next few years! :-hah

Intresting...Hope they'll find a way to give us "real" orbital physics (like in orbiter). Would be nice if they included the ISS, so you have a place to rest in orbit. :-hah Anyway, they'll need to create alot of new gauges like space nav tools and stuff! The easy way would be to develop a reentry only sim, but I wouldn't care about an addon like that! :-luke
