Adding loading weight

Featured Replies

Hello, I have for many years flew my airliners in FS9 with the proper amount of fuel for their flights, however I really never put much thought on the baggage and passenger weight since I have just leave them with whatever they come with.  For example I notice that the TDS 737 series jet out really quick on take off..and thats with using N1 around 82%. Is there a free program that would randomly add passenger/cargo/baggage/ to planes in a realistic manner?  Or something like that?

Thanks,

Bill

Not free I'm afraid Bill, but you already own it ... FS9!

Not randomly I admit, but you can change the Payload and Fuel weights of your choice of aircraft under Aircraft\Fuel and Payload.  Because the two are dependent on one another for flight planning purposes there is little time saving involved in randomising the pax and cargo weights.

Plenty of free flight planners around eg. vroute.

Apologies if you already realised this, but sometimes familiarity does breed contempt.
