January 6, 201511 yr So I had Opus and then upgraded to OpusFSI. Do I need to retain Opus or can I delete it and just run FSI? Thanks in advance. Rick
January 6, 201511 yr Commercial Member You just need to leave your OpusFSX licence file in the Opus Software folder but can uninstall OpusFSX if you wish. We recommend you keep OpusFSX installed for a while so that you can refer to your settings etc and you can utilise all your cameras etc by copying across the CAM files from the OpusFSX folder to the OpusFSI folder. January 30, 201511 yr Dear Cheryl, I used to have this kind of problem in OpusFSX, and I thought it had been solved in OpusFSI, but it just happend again. OpusFSI just stops responding and I have to kill the process. Thanks Best regards, Wanthuyr Filho Instagram: AeroTacto
January 30, 201511 yr Commercial Member If you are using P3D then you should use our new PDK interface, you must download the very latest OpusFSI version for this. Our P3D PDK (checkbox and setup help in the Configuration dialog) is more stable and efficient than the SimConnect interface. This requires copying a DLL file as described in the Configuration dialog help. If you are using FSX then you should disable Bump Aircraft and restart OpusFSI. The error is generated by the sim and it will not recover the connection with OpusFSI until you restart OpusFSI. Let me know if you still have a problem. Cheryl
January 31, 201511 yr Actually I'm using FSX without Bump Aircraft. I tried using Bump Aircraft early on the beginning, but the aircraft flyability got such a bad behavior that I had to disable it. Best regards, Wanthuyr Filho Instagram: AeroTacto
