Can someone tell me what trigger begins the cabin crew announcements before takeoff?  I am not getting them but I am getting the announcements upon landing.  Obviously I missing one small step as I go through the flows.

The only pre-takeoff cabin crew announcement is usually triggered by asking the FO to start the engines.

 

It's the cabin safety brief.
