RealAir SF-260 V3 Radio Stack Popup

Featured Replies

If you would like to add a click spot to the Autopilot display in the VC that will pop up the Radio Stack, check the Avsim library for a neat little addon that will accomplish just that.Search for my last name in the library...

Works great. Thanks

Thanks, Bert. It makes access a whole lot easier. One thing I noticed is that if you run the SF 260 config wizard and save any changes, it overwrites your panel modifications, as well as any made for the Reality XP Garmin 530 and wx500.I know that FSD has a workaround to avoid this when using their config apps. Does anyone know if Real Air has a similar means of maintaining panel modifications that have nothing to do with the areas handled by the config apps? I've not run across it if there is.Robert

We'll have a look at this once Sean is well again, but of course we designed the SF260 to work with a bog standard FS9 or FS9.1 and that is the primary requirement. It is impossible to design an aircraft to accomodate every third party app, there are so many of them!Bert's mod is very useful though (thanks Bert). The vast majority of users stick with one configuration (ie: RealAir raindrop option and "old" 2d panel or no 2d panel. You can always back up your panel.cfg file one you have done a modification!Kind Regards,Rob Young www.realairsimulations.com

Cool pop-up button. Where does one get the RXP-530 config?ThanksDave

Rob, please don't waste any time on this. Better you guys give us more great planes with these fabulous VCs. You're absolutely right - there's not much occasion to change the config settings. I just happened to review my config settings after making the panel changes and found that I'd lost them. No big deal.I've been flying the SF-260 since the 2002 version, and although I might leave it for a week or so to try something else, I always come back to it. For me, it's the best all-purpose plane out there and I just love it. And now it's even better.Thanks. Robert

Send me an e-mail: pieke at sympatico.caBe aware that the night lighting is not a great fit... but with RealAir's help we'll find a solution for that too, once Sean is back..
