Anyone else having an issue with Saitek panels doing odd things with SPAD drivers?

 

When I select Gear Down on the Multi-Panel, ALL the aircraft lights come on :o

Is gear down the first thing you are manipulating on the panel? What I mean is, when I first hit a switch on the panel upon starting FSX, EVERYTHING responds and snaps into whatever position the switches are in on the panel.

I had trouble with odd behavior with my Saitek gear until I purchased a GOOD QUALITY powered USB hub.  I say good quality, because my first powered hub didn't fully solve the problems I was having, and a bit of extra looking led me to discover that the max current draw of the hub didn't support what the vendor said it should.  Buying a better hub solved the bizarre problems I was having.

 

Just a thought.  Otherwise, no...  Been using Saitek with SPAD for years now and have not seen this kind of issue.  If power isn't the issue, I'm not sure what it could be.

Thanks for that Scott.  All my Saitek controllers pluged directly into motherboard, so SHOULDN'T be an issue.  Will still try it though.

ThWind81 is correct.  The MultiPanel does not know where the switches are (on/off or up /down) until you actually flip anything on the panel.

 

This only happens the first time you flip one of the switches after loading.

Ok thanks. That sort of makes sense.  The thing is though, the unit didn't USED to behave this way.
