Stock FSX c172 no virtual cockpit view after "dragging it over" to Prepar3d
Got it working. Found the answer in another thread. Had to modify a line in the model.cfg. The other thread was not detailed so here is some additional info. In your Prepar3d folder go to SimObjects\Airplanes\C172... open the model.cfg file for editing in notepad... There is a line... interior= modify this line to... interior=cessna172sp_interior

Stock FSX c172 no virtual cockpit view after "dragging it over" to Prepar3d
I simply dragged the c172 folder over from my FSX installation into Prepar3d 2.5.12942.0 . When I went to copy over the Cessna172.dll from the "gauges" folder I noticed there were already these Cessna files in Prepar3d. I can load the plane in Prepar3d but when I go to change the view to Virtual Cockpit, the selection is greyed out. I am hoping someone can tell me how to get it working. Thanks!

Powered USB hub on Saitek Yoke
None of the things you plugged in require power so I'm not sure why you bought the power supply. For example, when I plugged anything that actually required power (radio panel, multi panel) into an un-powered USB Yoke Hub, they did not work. I bought a power supply. Now they do work. Therefore I know the power supply is supplying power.

Saitek Instrument Panel not responding to Steam Edition...
All of my other Saitek panels are working in Steam Edition, just not the Instrument Panels. I tried copying the exe.xml from C:/Users/(your name)/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/FSX over to C:/Users/(your name)/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/FSX-SE. This gets FSX-SE to ask me if I want to run directoutput at startup to feed the panels. I click yes.. in FSX the panels immediately respond and display instruments. In FSX-SE I am getting no such response. Any ideas? Thanks, Dustin

Using SPAD driver with Saitek in FSX?
Is gear down the first thing you are manipulating on the panel? What I mean is, when I first hit a switch on the panel upon starting FSX, EVERYTHING responds and snaps into whatever position the switches are in on the panel.
