February 9, 201511 yr A nice looking FS2004 scenery, obviously. Who will test it? Can't decide yet... http://secure.simmarket.com/rfscenerybuilding-umkk-kaliningrad-khrabrovo-fs2004.phtml Regards Harald Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
February 9, 201511 yr G'day Harald. I have taken a punt and installed this. I will have a brief look around today and report. An in-depth review will follow. 18th busiest Russian airport and lots of interesting flights beckon. <_<
February 9, 201511 yr Author Oh, many thanks Appliance! I didn't expect such a quick response. Eager to read your report! Harald Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
February 9, 201511 yr Not bad, not bad at all. Have to go out so following is first impressions only. Frames: Looking everywhere 30 fps (locked) maintained as expected ... it's only a small airport. Textures: Ground textures are fine, terminal textures appear bland but perhaps that how it is in real life. Because of time constraints I only tested Summer textures. Screenshots show pretty good hard winter although no snow 'flurries' on the runway. Animations: No airport traffic that I could see however smoke makes a welcome reappearance. Price: Fair to good value. AES has been requested. Opinion: Recommended if you wish to further 'flesh-out' the Baltic area. Suited to both regional and international flights
February 10, 201511 yr Author O.k., many thanks, added it to my wishlist... Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
February 10, 201511 yr Author Have just bought it. Have to second Appliance: Nice regional airport for those who don't like the big hubs. Downside: Not much to spot here; at this time I see five AI planes and one Mi-8 heli. Good textures both for ground and buildings, also at night (the ground textures are optimized for ****X textures; fitting with FS9Evo is acceptable and probably better than with stock or GE pro textures). Excellent fps. All in all a good average while not too expensive; quite worth the money. AES has been requested. ... and by the way, there are more and more "AES 2.38" marks popping up in the dedicated thread. So probably some new airports soon, but I honestly don't believe in the promised AES upgrade anymore... Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
