February 15, 201511 yr I have an extra Samsung SSD 250 GB (my F drive) with nothing on it and was wondering would that be enough space for P3D V2.5 + addon's like Orbx, traffic, weather, some addon aircraft? I also have a HHD storage disk with 850 GB that I could use. Regards Lamar Regards Lamar Wright
February 15, 201511 yr Commercial Member Unless you are using tons of photo scenery it is plenty big enough. I'm using exactly that for prepar3d. I've even got 75GB of UK photoscenery on it. Only other add ons are orbx England, opus, a few ga and warbirds, a320 and ifly 737. Transforms loading times and helps with blurries. Not sure how big all of orbx global and extras are though. If they will fit I might try them. Chris Owner, Fulcrum Simulator Controls. fulcrumsim.com facebook.com/fulcrumsimulatorcontrols instagram.com/fulcrumsimulatorcontrols twitter.com/Fulcrum_SC

February 16, 201511 yr Author Hey, thanks for your input so much. I'll go with the SSD, like you said, should be plenty of space for what I plan to have. Regards Lamar Wright
February 16, 201511 yr Just a comment: I put P3D on a 250GB SSD mounted externally. No extras. What surprises me is how well it works off of a USB port. Very smooth. Jim Morgan
