LevelUP 737NG Series for XP12 Released!
A very nice package and simpler installation (no merging with Zibo). My only problem is with the liveries despite the fact they say are for the v2 s.1 they do not show up on the screen. The LevelUp livery looks great.

Thanks. I like the images without the decals. It looks somewhat cleaner.

SWS Okovango scenery issue
Hi CapnCrunch, I just tried the Okavango scenery and it failed to load. I had a complete blue line loading and waited several minutes and it stalled. No messages. It appears the scenery is out of date.

Mandatory 8.7 GB Update, MSFS 2024 won't even startup.
Has this "update" been removed by MSFS? I am glad I haven't run MSFS2024 or 2020 for a while. It seems to have created a lot of havoc. Thanks.

Ai-artificial intelligence-in improving flight simulation
It seems we are in an Ai revolution. I wonder if it was used to any extant in current flight simulators? It may be helpful in testing and reducing bugs as well as generating more efficient code.

What would make me adopt XP12 as my General Purpose sim?
I think a major improvement in a realistic environment would be advantageous. How our surroundings look like would draw in more XP users, developers and general interest in the simulator.

LevelUP 737NG Series for XP12 Released!
Thanks for the info on the V1.01 update. I tried out the -900, KEWR to KORD and all was good. LNAV/VNAV, auto speeds, crossing altitudes, etc all worked well.

Back to MSFS 2020. I hate this stupid GUI
I've spent a lot of time trying to set up cockpit and instrument views - to no avail. I like my view selections on the Num Pad. I hope the authors make the necessary corrections very soon. In the meantime I have decided to uninstall MSFS2024 and will try again next year.

AKD Studio GLF650 is out - any feedback/reviews?
I had a nice flight from KTEB Teterboro NJ to KSDL Scottsdale AZ. The LNAV and VNAV worked very well. Autopilot and hand flying were good. Nice to get up to FL460. Seems like a nice bird to me. Like the GLF550 improvements will be forthcoming.

FS2024, are you at all bracing for disappointed?
I am looking forward to the release of MSFS2024. I expect that, like MSFS2020, I'll opt for the Premium Deluxe version if it is available. I am guessing that most of my MSFS files will be compatible with the newer sim, so after transferring them I will eliminate the older sim. I will continue to use XP12. Two sims are enough.

FF 777v2 sets a new standard
I am looking forward to the release of the FF B777 v2. It will be interesting to see how well it performs. All of the touches to approach reality add complexity. In the end I am most interested in how it handles and navigates. Their B757 and B767 are quite good.

Windows update crushes FPS
HI, Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3176938) crushed my FPS down to about 6-8. I checked nvidia for an update to my video driver. It showed up under the "10th Anniversary" group as v372.70. After that install the FPS went back to normal up to around 38-40 FPS. Now I can fly again.................................... Looks like Microsoft has had some glitches with the 10th Anniversary update - including my Logitech 910 webcam. That fix is due in September, I hope.

MegaSceneryEarth and X-Plane
Hi, I believe there is plenty of room for those who prefer MegaScenery or those who would like to make their own scenery. I used MegaScenery way back when I still used FSX. I thought it would be a nice addition to X-Plane and I would buy it if available. It seems they are slow off the mark to produce for X-Plane. So, I recommend that if you are interested in the product to write. Here is a link to express your interest: http://www.megasceneryearth.com/store/cart.php?target=help&mode=contactus Thanks. X-Plane is getting better all the time.

Take our survey and have your say in shaping the future of flight simulation (plus there are prizes to be won!)
I sent in the survey. Will the results be tabulated and posted? If so, when? It will be interesting to see the results. Good Luck with the project.

Carenado G1000 Updated to v3.3
Just for information; I tried the G1000 v3.3 again on a round robin flight plan - KACY, KWRI, 80N, KACY. As before the headings were incorrect. However, once the first leg was activated, the courses were followed exactly and waypoint turns were precise. The Menu and other selection functions need to be worked on. FPS on my system averaged 34FPS. On the last leg I did a coupled ILS approach to KACY RWY 13 and it was right on. My aircraft are the CT182T and the CT206H. I don't know if it is built in, but I couldn't turn the Course/GPS needle. The GPS did correctly point to the various waypoints once underway.

Carenado G1000 Updated to v3.3
I got the Carenado email notification as well and added the new updates for the CT182T and the CT206H. The engine indications are back and there is some improvement in the menu selections - but it needs work. I punched in a flight, one leg at a time, and the headings were way off. Distances looked right. I'll have to try again to see if this was a fluke. I hope Carenado continues work on the G1000 and gets it close to reality. That's a big challenge and good luck.
