OZx Scenery and P3D v 2.5

Featured Replies

Just thought some of you might like to know I have OZx Scenery and Ants Aussie Airports Installed in 2.5 without any issues that I am aware off. I have done quite a few flights to test. I have OZx  running  with  ORBX  Australia, Global , Vector and Holgar Mesh installed into 2.5

Hi there,

i installed OZx scenery too but there are a lot of details missing in P3D2. Reason is the libraries are simply not compatible.

Solution is to convert the libraries into P3D2 compatible bgls. I did this with ModelconverterX.

Winsocks are the biggest problems. Once converted they look strange. Solution is to delete the Windsock libraries and replace them with stock once.

Hi Mickeyj

Is that conversion a complicated process and or very time consuming

Hello Wayne,

the process itself isnt that complicated. The setup of ModelconverterX is a bit confusing. But once you got that done it is just an, open file, convert to P3D2 bgl, save as done! The OZx libraries are pretty big so it will take some time to go through all bgls anyway.

This procedure is more like a workaround rather than a spot on solution but it works quite good.
