Ezdoc World Camera Problem
As the world cam needs the position of the user´s airplane it is bound to the position where you have left it. Where on the other hand the aircraft cam is bound to the specific aircraft. So the world cam you created in Utah obviously will stay there If you want to have a world cam in KORD you´ll simply have to create a new one. There is nothing to fix here as everything works as intended and expected.

Scenery overtop of my new addon airport
Hi Mark, check the scenery priority. I noticd some time ago that ORBX causes scenery issues when they have the highest priority. Maybe you need to give Ottawa a higher priority than ORBX.

Orbx openLC NA - Quick Night Lighting Before and After
That looks really cool though. I lately got me some Night Environment add ons and it looks quite the same now in ORBX country. I will install openLC as soon as i have the time and make some comparison shots.

Problems with France 2.0 in P3Dv3
Hello Chris, i become a huge fan of your NE never been a night flyer before. First of all im using P3Dv3.3.5. I have lots of your NE´s and they rock in every which way. Now here is my little prob i have with France v2.0. It seems that not all road lights are displayed correctly. For ex if i slew to LFPG i should see lights galore especially the roads but they are displayed partially only. Same goes for LFMP (made a flight from Justsim LEGE to Dreamflights LFMP). France v2.0 is the only NE add on that shows this. Unfortunately im away from my computer and cant take a screeny. Anyway maybe you have an idea. Besides NE there is ORBX Global and openLC Europe installed. Thanx in advance

AS16 + ASCA + REX Softclouds?
Interesting discussion here. As for me i was happy with ASN so am i with AS16. Unfortunately i do still see the popcorn Shot was taken over Oregon. I fired up OPUS (which i dont like for it major performance hit) and the cloud display was much better than AS16. Conclusion for me is i will stick to AS16 as i like the features and it is a ver keep it short and simple app. Last words, sim means simulation and all these wx engines simulates something that should be real weather. But as it still decodes METAR it will only be an local weather. If one woul like to see the real deal build a wx engine that simulates whole wx systems like highs lows and frontal systems.

NEWBIE.. What pc to buy for FSX
Hi there, im not the biggest hardware guru but there is one golden rule i followed all these years in flightsimming -go for intel+nVidia For me all three options are a nogo. Intel+nVidia is expensive thats for surebut in the end an investment. I started with an i7 3770k watercooled to get 4.6GHz+nVidia660ti+8 GB Ram and 2 SSD. That was enough to drive mid to high settings depending on scenery. Then P3Dv2.x and now v3.x came up and i went further up to an i7 5820k and GTX 980 SLI. Expensive? Hell yes but it was worth it. So if you want to have a good system you may want to stick with intel+nVidia. You wont need a killer machine like some of us have. Look for a budget intel that can be overclocked and get an nVidia card. Prices for should drop for GTX 9 series. You might want to habe a watercooler for the CPU cause you should have 4GHz+ 16GB Ram are sufficient at least 1 512 or 700+ GB SSD for the sim is recommended. The OS shoul run on its own HDD/SSD. Irecommend SSDs as it keeps loading times to a minimum. If you start all over again think about P3Dv3.x which is imho the future of flight simming.

Refresh rate.
You can try this: If your monitor supports 30Hz refresh rate enable it within P3D set the frames to unlimited. The result should be smooth 30FPS. No NI setting is needed for this nor setting any target frame limit. In my case, PC setup and of course my preferred flight style (mostly GA, military and helicopters) i get solid smooth 30 FPS.

Simple Sun Mod & ENB sky textures
Indeed you are right ENB does not work with P3Dv2.x/3.x. Actually you can use Reshade or the RealismShaderPAck 1.1. Both are freeware. I personally use the simple sun mod with Reshade + Mastereffect together with the RSP 1.1. Currently im still on P3Dv3.2 i will go through the update as soon as i finished moving to my new home.

Simple Sun Mod Help
Kindly do me a favour, go copy the sun mod texture files to the texture folder scenery\world\texture. Give it a go and kindly give me a feedback. Also check that HDR is enabled. I lost the lensflare when i switched off HDR. I needed to reinstall the sun mod and in addition to that i copied the texture files into the scenery\world\texture after that i got the lensflare back. Strange but it worked. Btw did you copy the sun mod suneffect.cfg to the folder where the scenery.cfg located is?

Simple Sun Mod Help
Might be possible that you have the lense flare from REX4. Leave it untaged as well as the sun texture inside REX4. I suggest to copy the sun mod again to the texture folder. Here´s my Master Effect tell me if you like it https://www.dropbox.com/s/f0e53eux6ty2l3g/MasterEffect.h?dl=0

Simple Sun Mod Help
Glad you sorted all out and it is working. I think something screwed up in the shaders in the first place. I had the weired effect too when i switched off the HDR but couldnt reproduce it after it worked again. I also tried your Simstarter settings as well as the RSP 1.1. I use the RSP 1.1 together with Reshade and i have to say it comes real close to real.

Simple Sun Mod Help
Do you have the original shaders that has been backed up by RSP? For me it looks like a shader problem. Try to restore them. Oh did you try REX4 sun testures and effects? I suggest you try it out.

Simple Sun Mod Help
Hi, yes you have to edit/add the command ShowLensflare=true in all cam definitions where you want to see the lensflare. As your sun looks as intended you might miss the ShowLensflare command.

Simple Sun Mod Help
I played araound a bit and i noticed that when i switched off the HDR the lensflare was gone for some reason. I got it back when i reinstalled it. In addition to the main texture folder i put the sun mod files in to the scenery\world\texture folder. I know theses files dont belong there but after that the lensflare was back. Maybe P3D screws things up.

Simple Sun Mod Help
Hi Luis, i checked the screenies. But what exactly is it that you missing and what you find awkward? To me it seems that HDR and the lensflare effect are disabled. Now what you can check as well is the REX4 texture installation configuration. Be sure that "Sun/Effect" is deselected otherwise the simple sun mod textures will be overriden everytime you make changes with REX4. If you want to see/have the lensflare effect in the cockpit you have to enable that inside camera.cfg. The camera.cfg is located int he same folder as the prepar3d.cfg. In the camera definition of the virtual cockpit you must se the "ShowLensflare" from false to true. I will post some screenies too.

Simple Sun Mod Help
I would do these steps first. Leave all the custom shader mods. Clear the shader cache (go to C:\Users\<YOU>\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v23\Shaders) delete that folder, it will be rebuild when P3D start the next time. Install the sunmod. Put the textures into the main texture folder and the suneffect.cfg into C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3 back up the original file. start P3D. see what happens

Best Jet Fighter for P3D?
Hi there, here are my fav jets in P3D. Dinos S-3B Viking is one of my all time No 1, followed by IRIS Warthog both are TacPack compatible. As mentioned TacPack is already compatible with v3.2.3. The bug is a great but most complex plane to operate. For now i use it for bashing around. Due to its FBW system it is very easy to handle. MilViz F-4´s needs more hand flying skills than other FS jets. Low level phantoming is pretty challenging. Unfortunately the F-4´s does not come with TacPack integration. I would love to see and choose my own load outs. Furthermore Dino´s rest of the freeware jets are one of a kind, in visual, complexity and performance which make them a great addition to the FS hangar. On top of that all are TacPack compatible. Hope he will be back in business soon. These ransom s*****s are a pain the rear side. On my list are definitely MilViz´s Sabres i kinda like the ol´ dogs Last not least Metal2Mesh´s Mirage 2000 is a real nice flying saucer. Fast and a real fun to fly. Especially when you go down low or into the canyons. The list is long and you gonna decide which suit you the most.

Great FPS on CJ2 until...
Hi there, i have some Carenado glass cockpit birds and they pull a lot of fps. Especially the Pro Lone cockpit gauges do that. See the Hawker 850XP and the King Air 90 GTX which are equipped with these gauges. I did a small test few weeks ago with the GTX 90, i switched of the avionics and the fps gain/drop was significant 10-15 fps difference when flying in dense areas. Where did you start your flight, do you have any heavy add on running along with the CJ2? I suggest to go to a default airfield in a less dense populated area and start up the CJ2 again.

Couatl error yet again
Hi guys, first of all many thanks for your support. I solved the problem. Solution was to un/reinstall P3D as non of the suggestion from you guys nor from Umberto didnt work out. What was the problem?: Few weeks ago i did an uninstall of v3.0. I then installed v3.1 in a different location other than default E:\program files(x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3. I installed it in to E:\program files(x86)\Prepar3D v3 as there has been some files i couldnt delet in the old folder. Now P3Dv3.2 is freshly installed into its default folder structure. I just installed FBs KDEN no other add on for now. Test was successful. No errors no hick ups. The problem is solved!!!
