  1. I tried a different method (https://github.com/jet2code/arpc-injector) and ended breaking my MSFS 2020 .exe. Long story short, after modifying the .exe I got a compatibility error when starting the Sim (not recognized as being a 64 bit file). The odd thing was that the problem persisted even after changing the modified .exe with the unmodified .exe backup file. I also want to point out that my MSFS 2020 install (MS Store) had the .exe encrypted... so it would never work.
  2. It will work although with some severe limitations. A new LPMA is being made, but at this point I don't know details about the level of detail of the airport and island. I also presume tha LPPS (minor inhabited island and airport of the archipelago) is not going to be included/made. Please check the following links: http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/107197-madeira-x-troubleshooting/ http://simmershome.de/madeira-fuer-p3d-v2-fix/
  3. I don't know if we share the same cause. But regarding the end result, I can tell you that back on the days, when I had my Sim running (v3.2), I had the exact same bug with Latin VFR San Diego (KSAN) and Aerosoft A3xx tubes. Never understood why and never found a cure for it.
  4. I do understand what you're saying, I myself suffer from some type of "OCD issues" regarding this problem. But I have found, regarding Prepar3D, that it is more a matter of smoothness than to achieve a fixed FPS minimum. Although with all the bells and whistles and the various addons it's more easy to say than done! PS: Thanks for the inputs Afterburner.
  5. I am very curious about this as well!
  6. If you are using EZCA it's a piece of cake to set the POV position to your liking. Just hit numeric keyboard key 2 and adjust using cursor keys, PgUp, PgDwn and your mouse. Finish the operation using the initial 2 key.
  7. Thank you for the support Steve! Unfortunately no joy. It's definitely a weird issue, when googling, it shows 3 results and one of the 3 it's my post. :t0116: https://www.google.pt/search?q=Microsoft.ESP.SimConnect%2Cverion%3D%221.0.20.0%22%2Ctype%3D%22win32%22%2CprocessorArchitectue%3D%22x86%22%2CpublicKeyToken%3D%2267c7c14424d61b5b&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b&gfe_rd=cr&ei=Q59QV8m8Goes8wfC_5vACg Pois é... Go figure? Obrigado!
  8. Yes Sir! I guess I am going for a new fresh clean install...
  9. Regarding your remarks the only thing I can remember is this (The pic if from an earlier v3.2 install but it also happened in V3.3): But I have this issue in all previous builds (since Prepar3D v2.0) with no visible side effects, I just click ignore... Never understood why. I have all of the above software with latest updates.
  10. None of them work! I had already tried your suggestion... But went for another try and it didn't work. What the hell is going on? Fresh Win 10 install and fresh plain v3.3 install... I really don't get it!
  11. I have posted this on the Prepar3D forum but since I had no responses I though it as a good idea to try it here. Fresh Win 10 x64 Pro (all updates) installation + Fresh Prepar3D v3.3 Installation and I am unable to install SimConnect from ...Flightware\Prepar3D v3\redist\Interface folders using .msi files. I have tried installing SimConnect.msi files located in the following folders ...\Prepar3D v3\redist\ESPv1 ...\Prepar3D v3\redist\Interface\FSX-RTM\retail\lib ...\Prepar3D v3\redist\Interface\FSX-SP1\retail\lib ...\Prepar3D v3\redist\Interface\FSX-SP2-XPACK\retail\lib And fail to install all of them. I am always getting this error: An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.ESP.SimConnect,verion="1.0.20.0",type="win32",processorArchitectue="x86",publicKeyToken="67c7c14424d61b5b". Please refer to Help and Support for more information. What should I do? This is the first time I had this issue (never had this error with FSX, Prepar3D v1.x, Prepar3D v2.x and Prepar3D v3.2) Regards, Luís
  12. On my system smoothness is achieved with Vsync Adaptive (half refresh rate) and Triple Buffer ON in nVidia control panel. In Sim settings I have Unlimited FPS, VSync ON and Triple Buffer ON. (using 60Hz HDTV)
  13. With Aerosoft Buses A3xx, FTX Global, FTX Vector, FTX LC EU & NA, Pilots FS2010 Mesh, REX TD+Soft Clouds, ASN, EZCA, GSX, Traffic Optimizer, My Traffic 6, Pro ATC X and dozens of add ons airports with not a single Prepar3D tweak except (RSP). And I have the FPS Slump On Approach... so who knows which culprit might be. I don't own NGX's (yet) but have Aerosoft Buses and Majestic Q400 (Still don't know how to fly it so I really cant tell anything as I don't fly this aircraft just yet) but the issue is there with the airbus.
  14. I assume you are not suffering from this issue? Can you share what ad-dons are you using?
  15. I finally figure it out!!! The Majestic Q400 Pro and A2A Piper Comanche were a bit more tricky but everything is now working as it should. I even modded the simple sun mod a bit replacing one of the textures because I didn't liked the effect on Prepar3D v3.2 with HDR on. If someone is having a hard time making this great mod work with your P3D just ask for help and I will be more than happy do support your cause. lol
