"6.50 Initializing" forever

Hi All,

 

Has anyone come across this?

 

Sometimes when I enable, I get the voices saying "test" etc, then it says "6.50 Initializing", and it sits there forever..

 

Any way to get past that?

EDIT: Solved - it was a problem with the indexer not completing properly, it was pausing on Flytampa copenhagen. I just needed to give it more time to complete.

I got something like that after takeoff .. a msg "did you copy" I think it was.

 

It meant, in my case,  the program had locked up.

 

Developer sent me a logger pgm and then I sent the log back ... he found the error ....

What was the error? Are you using FSX or P3D?

repeated over and over.

 

The problem may have been with the last version .. I forget what was fixed in the current version ..

I have not tested lately.

 

The idea here is when there a a repeating "loop" the software could actually be non-functional from that point on ... locked up.

Thanks Vaughan, just curious in case it was on FSX and v6,5 because that is what i am using.

 

Hope my flights to date (and I've done a lot now) are a sign of this version's performance, because it's working very well.

My last lockup happened on a departure from KDTW ... after liftoff .contact xyz .. I did .. msg did you copy ... did you copy etc ..
