Carenado 182 Skylane clickspot help....

Featured Replies

Maybe I'm not reading the documentation right, or maybe I just am not familiar enough with Carenado's way of doing things, (my only other Carenado product is the Cessna 210), but can someone help me find my way around the panel? To access the autopilot, do I have to click on the panel manager down arrow, and then click on the autopilot, to pop up the autopilot panel?Or is there a more direct way?I realise that the virtual cockpit may well be the better way to go, but the autopilot push button settings are not very clear in the VC.

Hi Bert,I've been messing with that one too. The only mouseclick way I have found to get there is what you mention. I think the window assignment is too high to do it with the keyboard... I know it is for the radio panel so I'm gonna mod it for use with the ACP Compact I've got. I might combine the two so the autopilot will come up with the radios.Enjoy flyin'Zane

Zane, send me an e-mail: pieke at sympatico.ca and I'll send you a revised panel with "one-stop" clickspots..Clicking the face of the DME brings up the autopilot, clicking the brow changes the panel in all three views etc... The only thing I've not been able to do, is to prevent the Panel Manager from popping up when the main panel is selected.. there must be a way..
