FSBuild questions

Featured Replies

I am totally new to FSX-SE (1 month) and have purchased the RealAir Beechcraft Duke Turbine. I have Active Sky Next abd REX textures. I am an ex pilot and want to fly the Duke IFR. I have looked at a number of pieces of Flight Planning software, including FlughtSim Commander, G-Plan, PFPX and FSBuild. I like the look of FSBuild as it integrates well with ASN to give winds aloft and weather. My concern is that it seems to require an aircraft performance profile .prf for each aircraft. Looking on their web site there doesnt appear to be one for my Duke and also not many turboprop aircraft in general. My questions are

1) Can I use FSBuild without an aircraft performance profile?

2) If not, does anyone have the aircraft performance profile for the Duke?

3) I have tried to register without success on the FSBuild forum to ask these questions. Has anyone else had problems registering. If I cannot access any support it puts me off buying in the first place.

Any help and guidance would be much appreciated.

1.  Of course - you will not, however, get fuel estimates.

2. So far no one has released a profile for the Duke - FSB comes with a number of profiles, but additional profiles are developed by users rather than the FSB dev.

3. It may take a few attempts to get registration to 'take' - I've had that problem in the past and it is a pain.
