March 5, 201511 yr After FSX Steam working perfectly for a while,I suddenly seem to be getting a fatal ntdll error when loading any flight in FSX Steam and can't discover the cause. It occurs either during the 'loading' bar (around 20% during 'load terrain' sequence) or within seconds of the screen displaying irrespective of aircraft, freeware or default. I have been a 'flight simmer' since FS2002 days and my FSX settings are turned down relatively low and until now I haven't experienced this problem before. I don't think it can be memory related as I have disabled add-on scenery in the area loading, so am not loading high end airports or aircraft. I have tried following: - Removed add-on entries from DLL.XML so will not try and load. - Uninstalled & Reinstalled FSX Steam. - Done clean install of updated latest NVidia drivers. Only things I can think that I have installed recently are Shockwave 3D Redux lights add-on, but have not yet tried to add lights to 3rd party aircraft used. Also installed ifly 737, but am not using this aircraft when FSX crashes. Given the above, can anyone give me an opinion on the best place to start looking for the cause. I would like to try and investigate most likely causes first rather than randomly try various fixes based on the many posts found in the forums, which all seem to occur either during flying time or on changing menus etc. I just don't get that far anymore. Will running 'appcrashview' help me identify the specific cause? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks Stuart
