IFDG A320 PSS panel merge problem...

Featured Replies

Using Edward Cox's wonderful edits/update with side views, I tried to merge PSS's A320 panel with IFDG's A320 only to get autopilot problems. When switching on the autopilot after takeoff the aircraft will not hold a positive vertical speed (or any VS setting for that matter). The aircraft constantly wants to nose dive unless I manually fly the plane.Does anyone have a solution for this??? I hear so many success stories with these two add-ons merged, I would hate for mine not to work. :-hmmm Thanks for any help on this issue...

In order for it not to do that you must do the followingLine up for takeoff, activate the FD, open the throttle window (shift-4 I think) and manually click the throttle levers to the the TO/GA position. This will activate the autothrottle. Takeoff normally. After gear up, activate AP1. Everything should work fine :-). I remember having this same problem. Have fun!

You've also go to use the modified aircraft.cfg and A32x.air files for the plane to fly right. I had this problem initially. Plane would not reach TOC, random dives, very strange behaviour. There's a package here on avsim called "PSS_IFDG Panel merge" or something like that which has all the files you need.
