March 13, 201511 yr I know that since v2.5 the terrain.cfg file has a new path. My question: Is there still a terrain.cfg in the P3Dv2.5+ folder? If yes, what is it for? - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).
March 13, 201511 yr I don't have in in the root folder of P3Dv2.5, do you? The one being used on my system is under C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2\ Kind regards, Michael Intel i7-13700K / AsRock Z790 / Crucial 32 GB DDR 5 / ASUS RTX 4080OC 16GB / BeQuiet ATX 1000W / WD m.2 NVMe 2TB (System) / WD m.2 NVMe 4 TB (MSFS) / WD HDD 10 TB / XTOP+Saitek hardware panel / LG 34UM95 3440 x 1440 / HP Reverb 1 (2160x2160 per eye) / Win 11
March 13, 201511 yr Author Thank you Michael. Yes I have one. But apparently this one comes from my installations when I copied it from the new path just to be able to add scenery which has no v.2.5. installer (but adding entries into terrain.cfg). I simply forgot about that. . - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).
