March 24, 201511 yr Hi, I have used the Cessna 441 Conquest II for a few times now and had no problems. Suddenly now when I load the plane in FSX a constant loud high pitch sound is heard. All switches are off including the battery switches.I have tried to perform a normal start sequence and it's successful but the high pitch beep is still there. If I select another aircraft, I don't have a problem but when I load the Conquest, the beeping sound comes back instantly. I love this aircraft and want to fly it but at the moment I can't because of this problem. Can anyone give some advice? Best Regards / Jan
March 24, 201511 yr Welcome to Avsim, Jan. You can find most sound files in your SimObjects\Airplanes\FLYSIM Cessna 441\sound folder. You can listen to them one by one with an external player like Windows Media Player so you can try to find the one you are hearing in the sim. This would deliver a clue as to which event is triggered. Gyro maybe? Just guessing.
March 24, 201511 yr probably has to do with the flight file you're using while loading the plane or even the plane you possibly had loaded previously. Try reloading the sim using a clean flight file...or you could also try shift+1 after loading the 441 and choose the option that shuts everything off for you (i forget what its called, but it leaves you in a cold.dark state). March 25, 201511 yr Author Hi, Thanks for your great suggestions. It listened through the sound files and It was the stall warning sound.I loaded a saved flight with a Mooney Bravo I had saved before this occurred and the sound was gone. I loaded my latest saved flight with the DC-3 , loaded the Conquest and the sound was there again. I am wildly guessing here but perhaps the angle of attack of the DC-3 when on the ground (It's a tail dragger) is tricking the stall warning to go off when I load the Conquest. Anyway, thanks for your help. Now I can fly this excellent plane again / Jan
