RealAir Turbine Duke V2 Fuel Issue

Featured Replies

Lately I have been having an issue with fuel in the Turbine Duke in Prepar3d. I have not noticed it in FSX but it may be because I've been primarily flying it in Prepar3d lately.

For example if I depart and set my tank to 100 gallons each, fly an hour and land, the fuel resets to 130 gallons each tank on shutdown (full). I recreated it in a test as well.

I have also seen the fuel decrease during flight while monitoring I may notice 25 gallons each tank, then look down 2 minutes later to see 9 gallons each tank.

Has anyone else had any issues like this? I sent a support email earlier, hopefully I find a solution.

Hmmm, not seeing this.  You're not parked at a fuel spot are you?

Just flew a flight on PE tonight in P3D.

That's a possibility honestly, there was one on the same ramp but I was pretty far from it....complete opposite side of ramp.

If that is the case, I still have an issue with the time it's happened in flight except more empty......

I'll look at it again. Just so I understand you're saying after the engines shut down the fuel is refilled?

Correct. Got an email back from the developer saying it is impossible that something else has to be going on....so I will continue to monitor and pay close attention if it happens again.

I don't know what the correlative options are in P3D for Aircraft Realism Options, but it might be a good idea to make sure you have those sliders set correctly, or "enable automixture" or "unlimited fuel" unchecked.

I just tried to be sure in P3D... N626N paint with dual GTN 750's -

Set half tanks, started it up, shut it down (battery on still) - fuel remained the same.
