The comments below were the last post in a now locked thread. If my comments caused the thread to be locked then this one will as well as I didn't get an answer to what I believe is a reasonable enquiry.

Correct.

Yes you can't bypass the LR and just go for the 300ER. But to be honest, it's absolutely worth it the PMDG 777 is the best thing in flight sim, 77W or no.
