Voice recognition stops working mid-flight in P3Dv2.5

Featured Replies

On the last couple of flights the voice recognition has stopped working mid-flight so when I'm about to ask the FO if he's ready for the approach brief I don't get a reply. When this has happened I have enabled DSP to see if FS2Crew recognizes what I say and nothing show up.

I've now discovered that I can fix this by disabling/enabling voice.

Any ideas what might cause this?

What we think is happening here is your headset momentarily disconnected from your computer for a micro second, and thus disconnected from the audio system.

Why your headset disconnected for a micro second, could be anything.

But you're right: cycling the voice button will reset the system and reset your headset's connection to FS2Crew.

I think I already checked that in the past making sure none of my USB ports will be allowed to enter any kind of power saving mode but I'll double-check it.
