I`ve been told by a few friends that CFG tweaking is key for a better performance in FSX. After doing some research, I`ve read about different tweaks that can be applied. The only thing that I am sure that I will try is the highmefix which seems to be essential. 

Here are my specs: 

2gb RAM 

Intel Pentium E5500 2.8ghz 

ATI Radeon HD4350 

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit 

 

What other tweaks should I make?

Highmemfix is a fix that should be applied.  It will not change FSX performance though.

 

Looking at your system specs, the best tweak you can make is to upgrade your system.

 

2 GB RAM needs to be 4-8 GB for starters..
