I would like to install FS2 Crew into the PMDG 737NGX, which I bought with the P3D installer.

Your product page says your PMDG NGX version is supported for FSX only.

However you clearly are used to it being installed into P3Dv2xxx

Could you or somebody please point me to any tips and tricks needed to get the installation right.

I would be most grateful....

KInd regards,

Hi Ian,

We don't officially support P3D until Reboot is released.  However, it's possible to do and there are numerous threads:

1. Copy NGX panel.cfg with FS2Crew entries on it from your FSX folder to the corresponding folder in P3D.

\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 737-800NGX\panel\panel.cfg

You can open the panel.cfg file Notepad to see if FS2Crew is on it.

2. Add this line to the PMDG Options INI file.  Open it with Notepad.

\PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\737NGX_Options.ini

On second thoughts, I will wait for your Reboot version in about a month (was it?).

Meanwhile, tomorrow, payday for me, I will buy the PMDG 777 version with a P3Dv2 installer and try to get voice working for me. Up until now I have only used the button versions.

Are there any v2.5 surprises, hitches or care-taking required??

KInd regards,

Ian McPhail
