April 26, 201511 yr I recently bought a plane that doesnt have a Garmin GPS and i dont wanna use the FMC. Is it possible to buy GPS software that i can use during a flight? It isnt necessary that it can be built in a panel, i would just like to have it up while flying. Does this even exist? and if it does - where?

April 26, 201511 yr Author I believe you want this: http://www.flight1tech.com/Products/AvionicsSimulations/F1TGTN.aspx Wow, thanks!
April 26, 201511 yr A bit extreme, given the price (and the inconsistency in that pricing with Flight 1 products also for P3D). You can add a default GPS to any aircraft quite simply.
April 26, 201511 yr Default GPS doesn't have editable flight plans, SIDs, STARs, IAPs, terrain, WAAS, traffic, touchscreen interface, interactive maps that display jetways/airways... There are many reasons to get the F1 GTN.
April 26, 201511 yr Author I just tested it. Its really amazing and i recommend it. The details are so nice! Price is a bit high, but i guess its the worth the price. Thanks again KylanWalters!
April 27, 201511 yr There is also this if you prefer using the older Garmin 430 or 530 :-) http://www.mindstaraviation.com/Product_430_530.html
