July 2, 200520 yr I'm looking for scenery add on and I must say the choice is difficult with so many products out there.First what I have nowUSA Megascenery NC SC PNW Mega City Dallas Forth WorthFSGenesis Hawain Islands 10 m, Appalachians and NE 38 m, The great plains 38 m, Monument valley 10 m, American Data.I considerUltimate Terrain, Realscene, FSGenesis West coast and Alaska and Cordillera and Cordillera and NuRoads 2 and finallyMisty FjordsWhich products will in the best way enhance and work with what I already have? Which of my planned products are redundant?I like the Megascenery City titles when inside the area but they cover a limited area and I wan't improved scenery outside them.I like the FSGenesis titles because of the great coverage area and low prices. I wan't to enhance these areas even further.I can also point out that buying all planned titles would be to expensive so what is best to pick?
July 3, 200520 yr >Misty Fjords is always a good choice. And I bought it earlier today because I got 15% of the regulary price.
July 3, 200520 yr Author I would say UT Scenery. This is probably the biggest bung for the buck since it covers the whole USA so your current default scenery will be greatly enhanced. But if your flying is limited to only a few photo-real sceneries that you own then UT USA won't do much for you. You have to make up your mind what your priorities are and what kind of flying you do.Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/747400.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_beta_member.jpg Michael J.
July 5, 200520 yr Allow me to second Misty Fjords, but the real answer is "it depends" based on the kind of flying you do. If you are doing big iron cross country, then you are probably best served by getting a genesis account at FSgenesis and downloading ALL the US stuff, landclass, etc., followed by UTUSA (although I don't have that yet).If you are more interested in flying VFR in a smaller area, I can't recommend Misty enough. The combination of an incredible base, and the community development, has been just wonderful. THere's nothing like flying treetop with 7 folks in multiplayer with teamspeak.

What I especially like about itis that it looks great from all low altitudes and there is no long loading time of several minutes. That is not the case with the Megascenery Titles but here I got bundled maps which I consider a big pro.
