Hi all. I wonder if any other Steam user is experiencing what I currently am. A recurring update, a Steam Client update released on 13th May and re-released on 15th May with a security fix, keeps popping up and asking me to restart Steam to install the update. It never says that it has failed, just keeps coming round again and again.

 

How can I stop this?

I think this is a Steam app update rather than an update to FSX-SE.  I think you should try posting on the Steam forums so the developer can answer.

Thanks Mark. Yes I realise that it's a Steam app update but the Steam forum and the Steam support desk are absolutely useless.

 

The reason I posted here is in case any other Steam user had experienced the problem.

No I have not had this problem.  I have had the occasional error where it says my internet connection is now working (even though it is) but it seems to act normally after a minute or so.
