Virtual Cockpit problems

Featured Replies

In my 3D virtual cockpit all the switshes are inactive, so I cant manage my flying from that view. All the other 2D panels are ok and all works. The problem is rather new, and I dont know why I have this problem now.

Please give me an good advise if possible.

Have you recently installed the new patch? Or updated to a new version? Open the PMDG Operating Centre to check if you need an update.

If you did install a patch, did you remove the plane first, then install with the new update file?

Can you provide some more information on what you see in the VC cockpit? Are all lights and displays showing correct content? Does the mouse change to a hand symbol when you hover over a clickspot?

After installation, did you get the popup asking to acknowledge that the PMDG DLL's may be run? What version do you have?

On a side note:

  1. Please sign with your full name. (PMDG forum rules)
  2. Please be patient with the server and don't click "Post" more than once. There are now several posts with this topic.

If you are using Ezdok make sure your camera position is not inside or behind the pilot's seat. You can't touch VC clickspots through it.

What Kevin said.  Also, even if you're not using that thingy just make sure your eye point is not inside the head rest.

Having the CDU box lit green for keyboard entry can also lock out a few VC mouse functions

as I recall. Forgot which ones, as it's been ages since I've seen it.

I usually use the VC buttons, and not the keyboard.

Thanks for all your answers. I am greatful for your help.

No, there where no hands showing when pointing a switch, but a full normal picture on the screen.

The problem is solvet: I had installed an upgrade from EZDOK v. 1.16 to v. 1.17, and this gave the problem. After  a complete uninstalling of EZDOK  everything is working again.
