Updating 777 FSX to version 6492

Featured Replies

I was away while all this was happening.  I downloaded both the -200 and -300 updates and installed them as "repairs."  The operations center says that I now have the most current versions installed (6492), but the aircraft.cfg file header still says build 6155.  How can I tell if the update has actually occurred?

Thanks.

You can trust the Operations Center. Also, you can look in the Windows Control Panel > Remove Programs where the installed version for each installed component is listed if you want to verify OC but really there's no need.

Thanks.  I wonder why the aircraft.cfg files were not updated?  I think they have been in the past updates.  All the indicators you mentioned show the 6492 version.
