July 13, 200520 yr Now I accept that as I reach senior years, my senior moments are about 60 per hour 24 hours per day!Therefore, any FS add ons can now conflict with my eternal
July 13, 200520 yr Not sure how to take this post - either extreme sarcasm and loving it or just taking this p1ss. July 13, 200520 yr Indeed!I shall make absolutley no racist(g) comments, especially towards a country and a people I love and visit as often as I can.(Sometimes twice a year)Yes I am extracting the urine, but in I hoped a gentle way against myself and the great fun I am now having with Fs, thanks to passengers add on.It has 'oft on the Rialto' been debated as to why we do this silly simming thingy, and I have often replied with the classic Exiestentilist notion of ' because we do, and its there to do'.Fs Passengers has added another fun aspect where you have to think of the flotsam of passengers! This simming stuff demands giagantic imagination time, this I had lost due to boredom. Been there done it, landed it, seen the scenery kinda thing.It also reminds me of the old ATP from Sublogic, which was a brilliant program ahead of its time.I do accept that there are many wonderful packages out there, but also accept that my senior moments tend to preclude my installing them. Fs Passengers was a doddle to install. A big plus for me.
July 13, 200520 yr Hardly "racist" saying someone doesn't appreciate "wit".Maybe he was correct and you're talking a load of b*llox!Adam
July 13, 200520 yr Adam,Just having a wee laugh.'Wit' is relative to the idiot trying it (i.e. me)I apologise if taken the wrong way.R
July 13, 200520 yr I must be a transplanted Brit as I received the full dose of wit and wisdom. And in fact, my ancestors were: Scots, Irish, Welsh, English, Dutch, Canadian and a leetle bit Indian thrown in for sauce. (City: Everett - State: Washington - Country: USA)I tried the demo but am in the midst of working out how to deal with FS Economy as it, at least sometimes, deals with cargo and at all times is oriented to GA aircraft (no jets need apply).:D
July 13, 200520 yr Ron,Made me smile and laugh first thing this morning -- carry on Sir!Best,Clayhttp://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...ers/Dopke01.jpgClayton T. Dopke (Clay)Major, USAF (retired)"Drac"
July 13, 200520 yr Stereotypes (umm).America has produced Cheers, Frasier, Friends, Sex and the City, Seigfeld, Taxi, South Park, the Simpsons, Third Rock from the Sun, King of the Hill, DIY ................Who's still the most famous British comedian throughout the world?Benny b%&**! Hill, that's who!Dan
July 13, 200520 yr The most famous British Comedian? I wouldn't know :) But I do know some of the best ones: the six Python geezers!I agree with you on Seinfeld, but could hardly compare the others with 'You reng milord' or 'Allo allo'.Some are good at cuisine, some at extracting oil, but nothing beats the Brits at their sense of humour. Says a Croat. :)Cheers!
July 13, 200520 yr well, I am an American and I found it very funny! I would love to hear another review when you get more time with the program!
July 13, 200520 yr <>Hey...stuff the Yank bashing. We brought the world such hilarity as Desperate Housewives, Sponge Bob and the Michael Jackson trial.And don't forget the Enron and Worldcom scandals where tens of thousands of people lost thier life savings and had to start all over again. It doesn't get any funnier than that!(-;
July 13, 200520 yr Benny Hill? A comendian? I thought that was one of those battles we won circa 1776...and the war, if I recall correctly...primarily because your Howe brothers (General and Admiral) we're too afraid to fight.By the time Cornwallis, a brilliat soldier, was allowed to engage it was a bit late and THAT was the joke that created a nation!And BTW, as everyone knows, the world's most famous comedian is, of course, Pee Wee Herman.(:
July 13, 200520 yr Happy to oblige, when I do get more time.Thanks to all for comments, they are all appreciated.On topic of humour, I bow to all the names mentioned above. However, I have a wee mpg file of Robin Wiliams on how the Scots invented golf, that cruel and vicious sport. As the British Open starts tommorow at St Andrews, where golf was invented, I would happily to send it to anyone who wants the .mpg file.I find it hilarious. He got a lot of it from Billy Connelly.I shall play this to my moaning, drunken, airsick passengers.
July 13, 200520 yr Given Pee Wee's reputation for attending movie theaters, didn't you forget the "in" before famous? :-lol
