June 20, 201510 yr Hi, I need some advice on how best to delete a building from an object containing multiple buildings. At Frankfurt there is an object displayed in ADE as a "hangar complex" which consists of multiple buildings. The issue is when you delete the object in ADE the entire set of buildings are removed. Is there a way to specifically remove one building while retaining the rest? My understanding is excludes in ADE usually apply to autogen but this is an FSX stock object. Would there be a way to disassemble the object (I assume this is part of a .bgl file) remove the erroneous building and the recompile the .BGL? thx Mark SpoilerSystem specs: MFG Crosswind pedals| ACE B747 yoke |Honeycomb Bravo throttleNow built: P3Dv5.3HF2: Intel i5-12600K @4.8Ghz | MSI Z690-A PRO | Asus Dual RTX 4070 Super OC 12Gb| 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200Mhz |Samsung 980Evo Pro PCIe 500Gb | WD Black SN850 PCIe 2Tb | WD SA510 4Tb |beQuiet 802 Tower Case|Corsair RM850 PSU | Acer Predator X34P 3440x1440pMark AldridgeMSFS2024 SU5 & P3D v5.3 HF2
June 20, 201510 yr It can be done, though not easily and technically not without violating the EULA. IMO it would be easier to replicate the model from scratch without the offending building. You could then delete the original object with ADEX and replace it with your new building. regards, Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
