July 19, 200520 yr Commercial Member You should get "sebclod9.zip" (76m) by Holger Sandmann from the library here. Also go to the FSGenesis site and download "bcablakefixv2.zip", also from Holger. They're both free and really add a lot to the Canadian Rockies. sebclod9.zip requires that some default bgls be renamed or otherwise deactivated, check out this thread for more info:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...d=258615&page=1--------------------------------Also, Raimondo Taburet has made his worldwide 38m meshes available as freeware and the Canada stuff is supposed to be awesome. I've got a bunch of the USA West Coast ones and they're great. Go here to see what's available:http://www.fsproject.com/srtm/World_Mesh_MAP.html---------------------------------Further, there are a bunch of great FSGenesis freeware meshes available right here in the library for nearly the entire USA. Do a search for "Justin Tyme" as author in the FS2004 scenery section.---------------------------------One more that I just started using and really like is the "FSGenesis US National Landclass Beta Preview" which is available from the FSGenesis site. That should keep you busy for a while :)Jim
July 19, 200520 yr Commercial Member It seems like the file sizes of the FSGenesis 38m meshes are much bigger than the Raimondo Taburet 38m meshes if that means anything. It would seem to me that 38m mesh is 38m mesh though :) ?As far as the difference between 76m and 38m, the difference is only slightly noticable in the sim from what I've seen. I'm just starting to get into this mesh stuff myself so I really don't know much about it.Here are a couple screenshots of the Yosemite Valley with Raimondo Taburet's mesh for that area installed to give you an idea. I was thoroughly impressed! Sorry I don't have any "before" shots, but you can fly over the area before you install the mesh and check it out.http://www.cat-tamer.com/attach/half-dome-015.jpghttp://www.cat-tamer.com/attach/half-dome-018.jpgHalf Dome is at N37 44.76 W119 31.98, or just depart Oakland Intl. (KOAK) and fly outbound on the 72
