July 1, 201510 yr I got it. It's pretty. I worked for the Piper Dealer in Sacramento and used to fly these things back in the day. The first thing I noticed about the Carenado version is a TWO-AXIS AUTOPILOT. Really Carenado? Maybe the first Navajo that came off the assembly line was so autopilot hobbled, but I never saw one without a three-axis autopilot during the years I flew them. The other problem I noticed is they didn't give us the click-spot for the pop-up on the GTN750. Regarding the flight dynamics, I haven't spent much time flying it yet. But, my initial impression is it feels a bit under powered compared to what I remember. But it handles well, and the control response seems accurate. And it is pretty. And, I have to admit, pretty is why I buy Carenado. "A good landing is one you can walk away from. An excellent landing is one you can taxi away from." July 2, 201510 yr Report the AP to Carenado with your credentials. They have a slew of AP's I'm sure they could shoe horn in there with three axes control. I broke my own rule, and just bought it. "Dammit Jim, I'm a doctor, not a beta tester!"; "Sure bones... Sure."
