July 10, 201510 yr Hi Folks; I just purchased ASN about a week ago and have been using it but decided to put it to a real test for reporting accurate weather. It was raining in NY the evening on 07/09 for a few hours at both KJFK and KLGA (LaGuardia Airport). Also confirmed it was raining at both Airports. I did a short flight (FSX) KBOS to KJFK and when I approach and landed at JFK it was bone dry and ASN weather reported no precipitation which was incorrect. I then disabled ASN and downloaded FSX weather and weather was totally correct, rain with light thunderstorm. I exited FSX came back in and started at JFK waited for a while to see if the weather would change and it didn't. I have ASN set to update every 5 min. Loaded FSX weather and again showed the correct weather. This also happened at KLGA. The reason I chose those locations is beacuse I can confirm the weather 100% in and around the area. It actually rained consistntly for more then 2 hours. Not sure what weather stations ASN is using but I have a concern if FSX is more accurate than ASN which is solely a weather engine. These are major airports not small airports outside of weather stations. This is the 1st weather engine I have ever used, I have always used the default FSX weather. I am sharing to see if anyone else has experienced a similar situation regardless of the location. I am also using REX4 direct with Soft Clouds. Any input, thoughts and or suggestions are welcomed and appreciated. Thanks. Kindest regards. Anthony Forshaw.

You didn't have it set to historical by accident did you? David Graham Google, Network+, Cisco CSE, Cisco Unity Support Specialist, A+, CCNA
July 11, 201510 yr Author No, set to live. I would have attached screen shots of my settings but can't on this forum. I am going to register on the official software forum and see if they have any suggestions. Something isn't set right somewhere. I can't imagine this product be that incorrect. Thanks for your suggestion. Anthony Forshaw.

July 19, 201510 yr Author Hi Kimberly; I did, thank you. They were very helpfull. We concluded that it was one of those weird weather situations where the rain was rapidly moving to the North and the weather stations may have been a little delayed in reporting the changing conditions. WIll continue to explore and enjoy using ASN product. Thanks again. Kindest Regards. Anthony C. Forshaw
