fsx major problem

Featured Replies

I have installed fsx sp1 (10.0.61355.0) and when I am trying to install sp2 it says that sp1 not installed what should I do please help.

I have completely reinstalled fsx twice and when I update it to sp1 it works ok but pmdg and stuff not and when I update it to sp2 I get this picture

and I dont know what to do

Did you install FSX and the Service Packs in the same drive? And exactly what editions of FSX are you installing?

If you have FSX Gold Edition, installing both Deluxe and Acceleration editions bring the service packs with them (Deluxe brings SP 1, and Acceleration brings SP 2)

And make sure you install them in order, ie 1 is installed first, and then SP 2.

And also run FSX, preferably as Administrator, after you install each SP.

Hope this helps

As Always,

Chris

This thread relates to another SP2 install error.  Pay attention to what Jim had to say

about trying to install the SPs when other 3rd party stuff is already installed.
