July 13, 201510 yr I finally was able to build a new Rig for P3D. I installed all my payware aircraft and such, but I usually use the CRJ-700 or the dreamwings E-170. Is there a way to get these planes over into P3D or are there any alternative freeware for these planes on p3d?

July 13, 201510 yr The direct install method should work with most FSX native aircraft. Find the Prepar3d.exe in your P3D root directory and right click...copy...paste. You should have Prepar3d - Copy.exe Right click and rename copy to FSX.exe You should be able to point your installer to your P3D folder and install normally! When finished delete the copy exe. Some Captain Sim planes seem to be the exception...for myself anyway!
