July 16, 201510 yr Hi there! And, to make this a complete series, here are a few pics of a short flight over the Swiss Alps around Sion, XP 10.35b5 with OSM Europe, European Library, HD Mesh v2, Treelines and Farms v2, UrbanMAXX 3D, MaxxFX, SkyMAXX Pro v2, tweaked art controls and the Alabeo DA40. July 16, 201510 yr Great comparison series! X-Plane is way too dark compared to FSX. The beauty of artificial lights at dusk/night is great though! "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".
July 16, 201510 yr Thanks guys! Maybe I'll adjust the gamma setting in XPX to brighten things up a bit. On the same day and the identical time, XPX draws the sun much closer to the horizon.
July 18, 201510 yr Is it just me or do I think the lighting in X Plane is far better than FSX/P3D. Stunningshots mate.
July 18, 201510 yr Is it just me or do I think the lighting in X Plane is far better than FSX/P3D. Stunningshots mate. Thanks a lot! And I think the same, XPX's lighting is capable of doing amazing things!
July 19, 201510 yr Excellent shots. I agree X-Plane lighting is far better than P3D or FSX and if it's to dark all you have to do is just adjust the gamma setting.
