July 20, 201510 yr After parking and shutting down the engines FS2Crew is not turning off the electric hydraulic pumps. Could you check this or let me know if I'm doing something incorrectly. Thank You. Sean Green
July 20, 201510 yr Have you you set last sector to yes in the approach briefing? I think it is said in the manual that for short turnaround, some companies don't turn the hydraulics off, so it is the purpose of that option in the approach brief. July 20, 201510 yr Author Thanks for that answer Bud. I knew there had to be reason. I'll go back and check the manual. But what if the A he'd need to be off for pushback. Do I need to manually turn them off? Or will the FO do that before pushback. Thanks again. Sean Green
July 20, 201510 yr Yes, you should definitely go through the manuals. The answer is page 48, in the Config - misc(2), you have the option to get the hydraulics A on or off for pushback. Romain Roux Avec l'avion, nous avons inventé la ligne droite. St Exupéry, Terre des hommes.
July 20, 201510 yr Author Yea I had it set up correct. I just thought they would turn the electric hydraulic pumps off once parked at the gates during a turnaround. I didn't know they leave the electric pump running. Good to know. I suppose they turn the a system off again before pushback on the turnaround flight. Thanks for your help. Sean Green
July 20, 201510 yr There is somewhere in the manuals (din't remember if it is in one of the SOPs or in the main manual) where this is mentioned. Always glad to help. Enjoy. Romain Roux Avec l'avion, nous avons inventé la ligne droite. St Exupéry, Terre des hommes.
