ActiveSky V Movie...

Featured Replies

Hey guys,I'm an established FS moviemaker (some of you will know me) and I've recently purchased ActiveSky V. My newest movie features nothing but a rollercoaster flight though the clouds generated by this fantastic addon.I hope you like the video, comments would be appriciated :)http://fs2004.com/downloads/index.php?dlid=362If you've missed some of my other video's check them out on my sitewww.arkitekt.moonfruit.comhttp://members.lycos.co.uk/electronicplayg...0easydriver.jpg

Well, I'm going to chime in here since I'm always on the lookout for the release of one your newest creations. This latest, Skysurfing, is fantastic as per usual; another great film with unique techniques that, quite frankly, make your stuff stand out.You obviously have a great eye for filming FS stuff; please keep it going. Your films are both unique and professional, man. I know other lurkers here (besides me) enjoy them as much, too. Thanks again!

I see no difference between that and the default clouds/weather.

As a shill for AS, your response, and sarcasm, is meaningless to me. A question for the mods: Why is blatant advertising for this product allowed in this forum when others are quickly censured or removed? Even some sigs have been criticized for advertising. Is there a double standard relating to such things?

Jeez dude, who peed in your Cheerios this morning? Lighten up, take a chill pill, go for a run, whatever.Dave Blevins

I don't eat Cheerios, and I reserve the right to defend myself against the sarcastic response that Skorna made.Further, those are legitimate questions. If you are an AS a really excited user, your comments are equally as useless as Skorna's.Now you can do the same thing that you suggested that I do.BTW, my name isn't "dude."

I've sent an alert to the Admins for both of your posts. As a representative of a commercial program here, your attitude stinks. Of course, that is no surprise to me, I know what you are. Don't think that you are bullet-proof. "You can fool some of the people some of the time, etc. etc." Keep it up so that more can see what you *really* are.You need to get a grip Skorna. One way or the other, you will."Hope that helps."

Your attitude is somewhere between High And Mighty and just plain grating... "Dude".I am not a a really excited user of ASV, just a reasonably satisfied (paying) customer of it and its predecessor, who appreciates the work that has gone into it. Your posts are inflammatory, unfriendly, and not a whole lot of fun to read.I believe that the original post is by someone that truly enjoys FS9, enjoys making cool movies that feature FS9, and who has recently learned that ASV offers some very neat (but - sometimes subtle) enhancements to our simulated flight experience.I come to Avsim every day, as I have for years, for (hopefully) pleasant readings about the latest contributions to our hobby. Your posts thus far stand out today as being neither pleasant nor contributory.I'm not going to waste my time crossing swords with you any more - you're not worth the effort - but if you feel a burning need to Get The Last Word In, hey the world is your oyster, as they say. Burn up that keyboard you're hiding behind!BTW.... I mean all of this in the nicest possible way... "Dude."(couldn't help it...)Dave Blevins
