Carenado E50P Phenom Toggle rxpGNS430

Featured Replies

I installed an rxpGNS430 into the Carenado E50P Phenom 100 to use for the GPS source and to aid in loading flight plans etc.  Works great.  Now I am trying to substitute a toggle to active the pop up rxpGNS.  The PFD on the E50P has a toggle hotspot (gauge03 in the Vcockpit01 window) at the Prodigy logo that toggles a window with the 2d PFD.  I never us that so I want to have that hotspot toggle the rxpGNS (Window08) but I'm running out of altitude & airspeed in my attempts.  I have a feeling the secret is in the K:PANEL_ID_TOGGLE, but it would take me a while to get smart enough about it to know.  Here is the relevant panel.cfg sections and the xml for the ToggleCARG1000 PFD gauge.  Any help appreciated!

Bert answered this for me in another forum so I'll post here for others.

THANKS! I now see the pattern. The hardest part was rebuilding the .cab file. At first I tried creating a standalone gauge and .cab but that didn't work so just editing the ToggleCARG1000 xml and rebuilding the EMBCAR.cab did work. This is great, thanks again,
Bruce
